Bills & payments

For large parties and functions at Italio, we do not provide individual bills. A fully itemised bill will be presented to the person who booked the table or the person in charge of the party, making it easier for you to split the total amongst yourselves. We can accept separate payments if needed.

Our terrace & decorations

Our terrace is a main part of the restaurant and can accommodate parties of up to 20 guests. It is not a private function room: bookings are strictly for your table only, and other guests may be seated in the same room. Our booking terms and conditions apply.

Please do not occupy other tables. All decorations, table ornaments, banners and posters must be agreed with Italio before your arrival.

We welcome birthday cakes for celebrations. As we also serve desserts, a small cake service charge (sometimes called “cakeage”) applies when you bring your own cake, similar to a corkage charge for bringing your own special bottle of wine.

Private functions

Private functions for up to 20 people can be arranged with management, with each event tailored to your needs. All large functions require a completed pre-order form, and food must be paid for in advance of the event.

A 10% service charge applies to large functions because additional front-of-house and kitchen staff are required. Please note that this is a service charge, not a compulsory gratuity.

Time at your table

We will do everything we can to make your day special. For parties and functions, we offer a table time of two hours per booking, which may be extended by arrangement.

Any changes or extensions must be agreed and confirmed with restaurant management. Extensions are not always possible.

Little guests are welcome

We love children at Italio — we are a family restaurant. We offer free ice creams, colouring books and other fun activities, and we prepare food from fresh ingredients so our younger guests can enjoy real food too.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians. For their safety and everyone’s comfort, children must not run around unaccompanied or behave in an excessively loud, rude or disruptive way.

Accidents, damage & cleaning

We understand that accidents happen, especially with children. However, damage caused by guests or their children as a result of inappropriate or unruly behaviour will incur a charge for repairs or additional cleaning. This policy helps us maintain our standards and a welcoming environment for everyone.
